If we can flood the entire world with transcendental knowledge, all of its problems will be solved. Therefore there is no more important welfare work than educating the people in general in the Vedic science. All of the governments of the world should facilitate the Krishna consciousness movement as it is the topmost of all welfare activities. If they do so, a new unparalled era of peace and prosperity will be manifested in every corner of the world.

Since what happens, happens for good, and Krishna knows what we should get what we should not get, how do we know whether what happens to us a reaction from our past deeds or Krishna's will?

Answer: Karmic Reactions Are Also Krishna's Will

If we are not surrendered to Krishna, we get karmic reactions from our past pious and impious deeds. These karmic reactions are happening according to Krishna's desire to encourage us to come back to our original position of being His devotee. On the other hand, those persons who are surrendered to Krishna are free from the law of karma. Everything they experience is personally and lovingly arranged by Krishna to facilitate their loving relationship with Him. So in either case what happens to us is Krishna's will.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
