Bible Wisdom is Derived from the Vedic Wisdom

One of our readers from India just cancelled his subscription. The reason he gave for this was that the Bible says to meditate on the word of God. He was thinking that what we are teaching is not the word of God. Thus he revealed his gross ignorance as to what is actually the word of God. The original word of God in this world is the Vedic wisdom, which is what we are teaching. This was originally revealed trillions of years ago. The Bible that he follows came much, much later only a mere 2,000 years go after Jesus Christ spoke his teachings. This Jesus did after coming back to Israel from India, where he had learned the Vedic wisdom from the sages there. The same principle of full surrender to the will of God as stated in the Bhagavad-gita is also found in the Bible. Since the wisdom of the Bible is derived from the Vedic wisdom, it is also Vedic wisdom and is also true. The trouble comes when the meaning of the Bible is twisted to justify sinful activities like killing animals to eat them when the Bible clearly states that we must not kill.

Question: Meaning of Offering the Results of Our Work to Krishna?

Hare Krishna. Thanks for answering my query. What does "offering the results of our work to Krishna" mean." Sorry for my ignorance. Actually I know what it means literally, but I really do not know what it truly means. Hence thought of asking.

Much appreciated.
Hare Krishna.

Answer: For Example: Donate Your Earnings to ISKCON

This means, for example, to offer the results of my job, i.e., the money I earn, to Krishna, to not use even one paisa for material sense gratification. This means that as much as possible of my hard-earned money should be donated to the Krishna consciousness movement for the highest welfare activity of spreading Krishna consciousness all over the world. Of course, some money is required for personal maintenance. Therefore that money must also be used only in Krishna's service according to the instructions that He so mercifully gives in the Bhagavad-gita. For example, in the Gita Krishna teaches us that we should only eat vegetarian foods which have first been offered to Him love and devotion. This rule must be strictly followed. Otherwise we are eating lumps of sin. Any spending of money that is not done in Krishna’s service is paving our way to hell.
