What Should Be the Attitude of All Preachers?
November 24, 2025
In The Nectar of Devotion Srila Prabhupada quotes from Srila Rupa Goswami what should be the attitude of all preachers:The author of Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, very humbly submits that he is just trying to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness all over the world, although he humbly thinks himself unfit for this work. That should be the attitude of all preachers of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, following in the footsteps of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī. We should never think of ourselves as great preachers, but should always consider that we are simply instrumental to the previous ācāryas, and simply by following in their footsteps we may be able to do something for the benefit of suffering humanity.
Srila Prabhupada ordered us to deliver the world. But we always do this in the humble mood of thinking ourselves to be the insignificant servants of the previous acharyas that they may use us as their instruments to deliver the fallen souls of this material world back to home, back to Godhead.
He strongly instructed to do powerful preaching. Here's what he said in a room conversation:
My Guru Mahārāja did not travel all over the world, so I have got double energy than him. So you must triple energy, four times energy than me. Then actually disciple.
Srila Prabhupada, please bless us that we can be successful in making the whole world Krishna conscious.

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness
In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.Read My Memoir You'll Love It!
