My Memoir is Now Much Appreciated in Bulgaria

I just received this wonderful report from my disciple, Sārvabhauma dāsa, in Bulagaria:

Dear Śrīla Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

We held a program at our center in Kyuri, during which we presented the Bulgarian translation of The Memoirs of Divine Love. We read some of the most moving passages. The devotees were very satisfied and took copies of the book that we had brought.

One lady who regularly attends the temple programs bought the book, read it in a very short time, and later shared how deeply it had affected her:

“His book is very moving and inspiring — I wanted to read it all at once! From a rebel — a hippie — and finally happy! I am grateful to him because my faith became stronger! It showed me how never to give up…”

Thank you for blessing us with the narration of your inspiring life story and your spiritual growth leading you finally at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada. I am sending a short video clip that we recorded at the end of the program.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Yes it was a typo. The question was "Why am I suffering so much?”

The answer is:

"This is because you are not surrendered to Krishna. When I become serious in my desire for spiritual perfection I resolved that I was not going to play around in misery any longer. And it was then and there after some months that Krishna blessed me with Krishna consciousness."

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
