Become the World's Most Fortune Person
November 6, 2025
Everybody would like to be the most world's most fortunate person. But unfortunately in material life this position can only be enjoyed by one person. Everyone else besides that one person has to miss out and be envious that most fortunate person of everyone. But in spiritual life, Krishna consciousness, it is just the opposite. In this connection Srila Prabhupada wrote in letter of George Harrison on 4th January, 1973. (Materially speaking George Harrison was certainly the most fortunate person, being a Beatle.)
na ca tasman manusyesu
kascin me priya-krttamah
bhavita nacame tasmad
anyah priyataro bhuvi (B.G. 18.69)
There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.' So that will be the supreme perfection of our existence, to come to that point of being best friend, best devotee of Krsna. And how is that? If we become simply engaged in His preaching work, trying with whatever talent or education or experience or material advantages we have got, to spread Krsna consciousness message all over the world. That is best friend of Krsna, that is Krsna's pet dog."
So all we have to do to be most fortunate person in all of existence is embrace the preaching mission of Lord Caitanya as our very life and soul. In this way to Krishna we become the most dear person.

All glories to your grace and Guru Mata.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
During an evening Kartik lecture, the speaker noted that of all the conclusions of Srimad Bhagavatam, one is that we are dasa-anudasa, that is, the servant of the servant, and that we should develop pure love for Krishna’s devotees.
But I am perplexed, since now that I go to the temple regularly, I am witnessing prajalpa among devotees, and they enjoy criticizing the devotees. I don’t know what to do in such a situation. It has been tormenting me. Please guide me, Gurudeva.
Your most unqualified servant,
S.
Answer
My Dear S.,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Be respectful to all living beings even to an ant. This obviously also includes neophyte devotees who are not properly situated in Krishna consciousness. But regarding association, you should seek out and take shelter of those devotees who are advanced in Krishna consciousness. Associating with them and serving them will liberate you from the cycle of birth and death.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness
In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.Read My Memoir You'll Love It!
