Are You Fired Up or Fried Out?
November 4, 2025
If we are tuned into Krishna, our enthusiasm will continue expanding more and more ad infinitum. We will become more fired up about reading transcendental literature, chanting Hare Krishna, and preaching the science of Krishna with the passage of time. But if we are disconnected from Krishna, we will become more and more fried out, more and more bewildered as the days pass by. Therefore those who are intelligent always keep the light of Krishna turned on within their hearts. They don’t like darkness. They make sure to always stay in the light.Sankarshan Das Adhikari

All glories to Srila Prabhupada, to you, and to Guru Mataji.
What’s the difference between “following in footsteps” and “imitation”?
Your insignificant servant,
Gaurav

Answer
My Dear Gaurav,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to ลrฤซla Prabhupฤda.
Imitation is merely making a show, pretending to a great acarya like an actor in a movie. Following in the footsteps means to take the orders of the great acharya as your very life and soul by strictly obeying them.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness
In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.Read My Memoir You'll Love It!
