How I Found the Perfect Career
November 18, 2025
It was 1968. I was a top-level college student. Every college student decides what his career will be and studies the appropriate courses. After a friend introduced me to chanting Hare Krishna and I started relishing the topmost nectar of worshipping Krishna, my career choice was realized. I was to deny everything of this material world and become a holy beggar in India. However, on the way to India I realized that denying everything includes denying denial itself. It was then and there that I decided that instead of renouncing the world I would revolutionize the world. I would dedicate my life fully to sparking off a global spiritual revolution to deliver the world from chaos. I tried on my own for two years by writing and publicly performing 300 songs. One of my fans told me that I am a spiritual master and my songs are my teachings. However, after two years of trying to spark off a global spiritual revolution, I came to the conclusion that I was still lacking spiritual realization. Thus, I prayed to God to guide me in how I could attain spiritual perfection by fully surrendering unto Him. He heard my prayer and sent His Holiness Vishnujana Swami to teach me how to surrender to Krishna. Now, on the order of my beloved spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and with his blessings, I am endeavoring to deliver all the fallen souls of this material world back to home, back to Godhead.Sankarshan Das Adhikari

All glories to Srila Prabhupada, to you, and to Guru Mataji.
What is monism and who is a monist ?
Please enlighten me.

Answer
My Dear Gaurav,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Monism is the philosophy that everything is one with no variety anywhere. They say that variety is an illusion. Persons who embrace this philosophy are called monists.
If everything is one how could the illusion of variety exist? Illusion and non-illusion is also variety. Therefore their philosophy is bogus and can easily be defeated.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness
In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.Read My Memoir You'll Love It!
