Transcendental Reply
Krishna's pure devotee is the non-envious well-wisher of all living beings. This includes the plants, animals, insects, and even his enemies. Lord Krishna describes Himself as follows in the Bhagavad-gita (5.29):
bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati
When people know that the Supreme Lord, Krsna, is the supreme enjoyer, the supreme proprietor and the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living entities, peace and prosperity will ensue all over the world.
Just as Lord Krishna is the the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living entities, similarly His pure devotee is the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living entities. Thus we should take advantage of his being our well-wisher and get his blessings for making our lives perfect and sublime.

You showed an image of Ramana Maharishi in your newsletter today and you described him as a bogus bhagwan.
I dont think one has the right to call anyone bogus without knowing the facts. Especially since he was also an enlightened being just like Swami Prabhupad.
This was in poor taste.

I was not criticizing him as a saint. I have great respect for all saints and consider them to be worshipful. I was simply pointing out the mistake in the text below the picture that said that he is Bhagavan. Being a saint does not make one to be Bhagavan or God, that eternally youthful person Who is the source of all existence.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.

P.S. It can also be pointed out that there is a difference in their teachings. He taught the partial understanding, that all living beings are one with God (advaita-vada), while Srila Prabhupada teaches the full understanding, that all the great Vaisnava acharyas teach, acintya bhedabheda tattva, that the living beings are simultaneously one with and different from God. This is the proper understanding because it is not possible for the drop of ocean water, although ocean, to become the entire ocean.
