An Ecstatic Visit to Govardhan Hill
October 23, 2025
On 22 October we were blessed by Guru Mataji's arrangement that she and I along with many of my disciples could visit Govardhan Hill, the most sacred place of one of Lord Krishna's most marvelous pastimes. He lifted what was then a gigantic mountain holding it on the little finger of His left hand to protect the Brijabasis along with their cows and calves from the devastating rainfall sent by Indra, the king of heaven.Sankarshan Das Adhikari

The Christians say that no one has seen God. How can we know that it is possible to see God? How can we know that we do not see illusion?
Robert Brown
Answer
My Dear Robert,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
According to Christian theology, if one is pure-hearted he can see God. This is confirmed in Matthew 5:8:
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8
But, if one remains impure by violating the Biblical injunction “Thou shalt not kill” by eating the meat of animal that was killed, he will surely not be able to see God. This is the position of the modern day meat-eating so-called Christians.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness
In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.Read My Memoir You'll Love It!
