When a Disciple Falls Down

When a disciple falls down from devotional service into the clutches of the material energy, it is a most devastating blow for the spiritual master. A rough mundane example of this is if someone has a darling little child who is suddenly run over by a car—the child’s tiny body crushed both by the impact of the collision and the weight of the car as it passes over it.

There is no material means of expressing how much the spiritual master is devastated by even losing one of his dear disciples. Thus after taking shelter of the bona fide spiritual master we should never ever deviate from his lotus feet. We should eternally take his orders as our very life and soul.

It is very risky for the spiritual mast to accept disciplea because the spiritual master must remain in this material existence until all of his disciples are delivered back to home, back to Godhead. Yet for the sake of delivering the fallen souls of the material world, the spiritual master takes this risk.

Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet .
All glories to Srila Prabhupada .

Please save me . I got emotionally attached to a woman at my workplace who is around 15 years younger to me . I find her very attractive and beautiful and I am mad after her beauty .
I used to drop her home and she used to talk very politely and sweetly to me and in the course of time I became very attached to her but she is not interested in me . And now I have become very desperate for her and obsessed about her but she isn’t talking to me .
I keep getting thoughts of calling her up and telling her how much I am obsessed about her , that I can’t get her out of my head and so on but these acts could cost me my job (because in the past I spoke twice to her inappropriately and she forgave me by the mercy of Krishna ! )
How can I develop this kind of attachment for Krishna who loves me eternally and unconditionally?

I appreciate very much your sincere attempt to get free from this and become attached to Krishna. Lord Krishna has blessed you with this understanding. Just by serving her again and again you become very attached to her if you will serve Krishna again and again in many different ways such as hearing about Him, chanting His holy names, reading about Him, visiting His temple, etc. etc., gradually the natural emotional love that you have for Him will be awakened and your life will be filled with unlimited peace and happiness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
