Cheat

We have been caught in the cycle of birth and death—saṁsāra—for thousands and millions of lifetimes, wandering through various species of life in search of lasting happiness. Yet that happiness has always eluded us, because we have been disconnected from our original source: Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Now, by great fortune, we have attained this rare human form of life. Unlike animals or plants, humans have the intelligence and capacity to inquire about the purpose of existence, to understand spiritual truths, and to reawaken our forgotten relationship with God.

This human life is our precious opportunity to break free from the endless cycle of karma and go back home, back to Godhead—where there is no more birth, no more death, and only eternal, blissful loving service to Krishna.

But how do we do this?

By following the authorized spiritual process given by the great saints and scriptures:

Chanting the holy names of the Lord—especially the Hare Krishna maha-mantra:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Hearing and studying Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, which reveal the science of God.

Serving the devotees of the Lord, who are walking the path of devotion and can guide us with compassion and clarity.

Living a life of purity, free from sinful activities, centered on devotion and humility.

Let us not waste this chance. Every moment counts. The doors to the spiritual world are open—but we must make the sincere effort to walk through them.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
