I'm Tasting Bliss By Preaching in Canada

In the Bhagavad-gita Krishna declares as follows regarding those who preach His message:

na ca tasmān manuṣyeṣu
kaścin me priya-kṛttamaḥ
bhavitā na ca me tasmād
anyaḥ priyataro bhuvi

"There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear." (BG 18.69)

Therefore anyone who accepts Srila Prabhupada's order to deliver the world embracing this mission as his very life and soul becomes the dearmost devotee of Krishna and tastes the sweetest happiness in pushing forward the Krishna consciousness movement. This is why in my humble attempt to preach on behalf of Srila Prabhupada I am tasting so much nectar preaching here in Canada.

Materialists like to get high on sex or intoxication (beer, wine, cigarettes, marijuana, etc). But there is a much better high that one gets by preaching Krishna consciousnss. The high of sex and intoxication is temporary and there is always a come down. But the high of practicing and preaching Krishna conciousness goes on increasingly, ever expanding forever. Deciding which one is best is a "no-brainer." Even a. mentally retarded person could conclude that Krishna consciousnes is better. So what is the position of the present day materialists? They are described in the Vedic wisdom as "two-legged animals."

Srila Prabhupada replied:  

Yes. To go back home, back to Godhead. That is the real goal of life. The water that comes from the sea forms clouds, the clouds fall down as rain, and the actual goal is to flow down the river and again enter the sea. So, we have come from God, and now we are embarrassed by material life. Therefore, our aim should be to get out of this embarrassing situation and go back home, back to Godhead. This is the real goal of life.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
