They are Lower than Animals

The present day modern civilization has so drifted so far away from the standard for human beings that it has reached the point of being much, much lower than animals. Animals act 100% in accordance with the laws of nature. They do not pollute the water or the air. They never deviate from the specific behavior that goes with their species.

Humans are meant by nature to take to the process of self-realization. They are meant to ponder the meaning of their existence and to seek how to perfect their existence. Hardly even 1% of humans are doing this. This leaves 99% or more who are out of sync with nature. Thus it is no small wonder that the misguided, profusely confused human civilization (What is civil about it?) is polluting the air and polluting the water and more and more turning this planet into a hellish nightmare.

The Krishna consciousness movement is offering the solution for this madness. But unfortunately practically no one is interested. In this spite of this we are making our humble attempt to turn the tide of the times. When will these lower-than-animals ever learn? When will the ever learn?

The easiest system for getting japa done is to do it the very first thing in the morning before you study or do anything else. This gets you on the right foot for doing your studies in the mood of offering them Krishna so that in the future your livelihood meets will be taken care of so you can focus your life on serving Krishna.

If you study in this mood your studies will more successful than doing them first and chanting japa later.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
