Most Beloved Srila Prabhupada

This prayer was written back in 1935 or 1936 by my spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, as an offering of love and devotion to his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur. I am today on the occasion of his divine appearance day offering this prayer of perfect devotion to Srila Prabhupada.

Adore adore ye all the happy day.
Blessed than heaven, sweeter than May.
When He appeared at Puri, the holy place,
My Lord and Master, His Divine Grace.

Oh! my Master, the evangelic angel
Give us Thy light, lite up Thy candle.
Struggle for existence, a human race.
The only hope, His Divine Grace.

Misled we are, all going astray,
Save us Lord, our fervent pray.
Wonder Thy ways to turn our face
Adore Thy feet, Your Divine Grace

Forgotten Krishna, we fallen souls,
Paying most heavy the illusion’s toll.
Darkness around, all untrace.
The only hope, His Divine Grace.

Message of service, thou hast brought.
A healthful life as Chaitanya wrought.
Unknown to all it’s full of brace.
That’s your gift, Your Divine Grace.

Absolute is sentient thou hast proved,
Impersonal calamity thou hast moved.
This gives us a life anew and fresh,
Worship thy feet, Your Divine Grace.

Had you not come who had told
The message of Krishna forceful and bold.
That’s your right. You have the mace.
Save me a fallen, Your Divine Grace.

The line of service as drawn by you,
Is pleasing and healthy like morning dew.
The oldest of all but in new-dress
Miracle done, Your Divine Grace.

There was shelling of Kyiv today, but thank God I am all right. Please do not worry. I am going to the Temple for the holiday and will be there until late. As soon as I cross the threshold of the Temple during the alarm, I feel that I am home and I have nothing to worry about. No matter what happens. Happy holiday to you!

It greatly saddens me that a Russia missile attack on your city, Kyiv, has killed some of your citizens. I am thankful that you were not one of those murdered citizens.

I am always in great anxiety about you and am praying to Lord Nrsimhadeva for your protection.

We devotees of Krishna can become fearless regarding death if we always remember this:

māre kṛṣṇa rākhe ke, rākhe kṛṣṇa māre ke
"If Kṛṣṇa protects someone, no one can kill him,
and if Kṛṣṇa wants to kill someone, no one can save him."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
