In this material world our tendency is to please everyone. We want to be "Mr. Nice Guy." We don't want to make waves. Because of this we sometimes compromise our principles of Krishna consciousness in order to not be a disturbance to those with whom we associate. But this a big self-destructive mistake. In all times, places, and circumstances we must always think, speak, and act in accordance with what is beneficial for our Krishna consciousness and avoid thinking, speaking, and acting in a way that is detrimental for our Krishna consciousness. If we do this we are on the liberated platform transcendental to the sufferings of this material existence.

Now you decide where you want to be and do the needful.

Is God a myth? Does God exist? Is religion bogus?

Answer

God means the Supreme Being. So, then we have to inquire whether or not there is a Supreme Being. If everyone is equally great then there is no such thing as God and religion is bogus. However, if there are varying degrees of greatness we can search for that person whose greatness exceeds all others. This would bring us to God, the Supreme Being.
So let us proceed!

Greatness can be understood in various ways. If someone is powerful we consider him great. If someone is beautiful we consider that person to be great, If someone is very renounced, knowledgable, wealthy, or famous we also consider that person to be great. Since everyone has or does not have to varying degrees these qualities of greatness we can search for that person who possesses the highest level of opulence in each of these six categories. If we can find that person we have found God.

Searching through all the great persons now and in the past we can then find out who is God. Religion is the process of connecting with and harmonizing with that person. Just like if you work for a business it is in your highest self interest to have a good relationship with the owner, similarly religion means to have good relationship with the Supreme Being.

No one can force you to cultivate a good relationship with Him. If is your free choice whether you want to nor not.

You can be religious or irreligious. It is completely up to you. But your present and further situation will be determined on what you choose to do.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
