Can We Ever End this Crazy Violence?

We are seeing now an ever-increasing upsurge of horrific violence all over the world. Law and order are vanishing from this planet while disorder and lawlessness become more and more prominent. A gunman enters an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas killing 19 young children and 2 teachers while law enforcement personnel wait outside for 70 minutes before confronting him. The president of the United States inspires a violent uprising against the democratic system of his country trying by brute force to keep himself in power. A violent mob of Muslims attack and burn an ISKCON (Hindu) temple in Bangladesh. Russia invades Ukraine with brute military force for the purpose of making Ukraine part of Russa. Criminal gangs take over the the country of Haiti even murdering a Christian missionary who sole aim was to render loving service to people who are difficulty. What to speak of the ghastly atrocities in the Gaza-Israel nightmare.

Simply reading about this we can feel grateful and peaceful that it is not happening to us. But what if your house was burned by an angry mod and your wife was raped and kidnapped? Or what if your city became completely under the control of a violent gang or your kids were murdered at school? Doe this help you understand the urgency the situation? I hope so.

The solution for all of this madness is there in the ancient peace formula given by Lord Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 5, Text 29:

bhoktāraį¹ yajƱa-tapasāį¹
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhį¹›daį¹ sarva-bhÅ«tānāį¹
jƱātvā māį¹ śāntim į¹›cchati

"A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries."

I have presented this sublime peace formula in my song The Peace Formula (www.thepeaceformula.com) in which I am begging the world's leaders to hear and heed this formula. Sadly, no one is hearing this. I am simply crying in the wilderness hoping that somehow someday this message will get through and put a stop to all of this madness.

I am asking all of you, my devoted readers, to help me get this peace formula out to the suffering people of this world so that we can put an end to this tidal wave of ever-increasing violence that is gradually completely destroying our modern day civilization.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
