How to Put a Stop to the Demons?

If the devotees at the temple that was recently destroyed by burning by Muslims in Bangladesh had used guns to protect the temple by shooting the terrorists, this could have easily sparked off massive killing of Hindus by Muslims all over Bangladesh. Even though the devotees according to moral principles had every right to do this, if some of the terrorists had been shot the Muslims would take this as a green light to now kill Hindus all over Bangladesh, burn their homes and rape their women.

So how are we going to put a stop to this terrorism? The real solution is Lord Caitanya's sankirtan movement. My proposal is that the US government should now step in to organize a massive sankirtan party consisting of people from every nation of the world. This massive sankirtan party should travel to every country in the world engaging every citizen of each nation in a celebration of chanting, dancing, and feasting.

This will bring the whole world together as one spiritual family and automatically put a stop to the ever increasing terrorism that we are now experiencing on this planet.

The trouble is that these rascal world leaders do not want to even hear my advice. May that day come soon when they will hear my advice and follow my advice. May that day come soon. May that day come soon.

Questions and Answers

Hare Krsna Prabhu,

Prabhu, it is said that Krishna never forces anyone to serve Him. But it is also said that those who do not want to serve Him in the spiritual world are sent to the material world. Both these statements seem contradictory. Which of these is to be considered as true? Does Krishna force others to serve him in the spiritual world or not?

My Dear Vaibhav,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Krishna kindly facilitates your desire. He does not force you. If you want to serve Him, He gives all facility to serve Him in the spiritual world. If you want to imitate Him as the Supreme Lord, He gives you an entire universe in the material world
of which you are Brahma, the supreme lord of that particular universe.

This reminds me of the time when my dear mother, Carolyn Bridge, told me, “If you ever want to run away from home, tell me and I will pack your bags for you.”

I hope this meets you in the best of health.
Your ever well-wisher,

Sankarshan Das Adhikari
