Why Are Mass Shootings Happening So Often?

Mass shootings are now happening regularly in the USA. Someone goes into a public place and starts shooting leaving many people dead. In 2022 there were more than 600 mass shootings, and this year so far in six weeks there have been more than 60 mass shootings. People are bewildered to understand how this can be happening, why human life is being taken so cheaply. But what they fail to understand is that in a world where millions of innocent children are legally being murdered by abortion mass shootings are not at all unusal or abnormal. They fit right in with the status quo. They are to be expected.

This is another one of the reasons why we have to now awaken the world to Krishna consciousness, to save the world from this humongous increase of sinfulness.

Though the embodied soul may be restricted from sense enjoyment, the taste for sense objects remains. But ceasing such engagements by experiencing a higher taste, he is fixed in consciousness.—Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 2, Text 59

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
