At the present moment the entire world is suffering due to a lack of Krishna consciousness. So out of kindness on these poor suffering souls let us work together now to try the make the whole world Krishna conscious. Even if we are not successful in our attempt, at least those who take advantage of this most glorious, most auspicious movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu will be saved from the repeition of birth and death. And our lives be most glorious by our attempting to make the whole world Krishna conscious.

Question: Renounce Home at Age 50?

Gurudeva, according to scriptures, one should renounce at the age of 50. But why should one renounce if he can be Kṛṣṇa conscious and perform bhakti full time at home?

Up to the age of 50 the householder can produce children by following the Vedic standard for sex indulgence, which is having sex only once a month 4-6 days after the wife's menstrual
cycle and after the husband and wife have both chanted at least 50 rounds of Hare Krishna japa. But after he turns 50 he must strictly abstain from sex enjoyment. He can remain at home if he fully absorbs himself in devotional service.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
