The Whole World is Waiting to be Awakened

Srila Prabhupada stated in Mumbai, India on 7 January 1973 that the world world is waiting for Krishna consciousness. Therefore those most fortunate souls who dedicate their lives for the awakening of the fallen souls to Krishna consciousness will be instruments in the hands of Lord Caitanya for the respiritualization of the whole world.

Regarding those who thus dedicate themselves for preaching Krishna consciousness Lord Sri Krishna declares:

na ca tasmān manuṣyeṣu
kaścin me priya-kṛttamaḥ
bhavitā na ca me tasmād
anyaḥ priyataro bhuvi

"There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear."

Question: Krishna ands Vishnu Different?

My question is--
Are Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna different? Or it's the same person with just two different names and a little different forms?

Sandeepa Sinha

Answer: The Same

My Dear Sandeepa,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Vishnu is Krishna Himself in His pastime of manifesting four arms. This is why Krishna's devotees are also known as Vaisnavas (devotees of Vishnu.)

I hope this meets you in the best of health.
