In Kali Yuga Murder Can Happen on Slight Provocation
In this Kali Yuga over a slight provocation murders happen. In this regard Srila Prabhupada explains as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, First Canto, Chapter 5, Text 11 as follows:
"When there are too many materialistic activities by the people in general all over the world, there is no wonder that a person or a nation attacks another person or nation on slight provocation. That is the rule of this age of Kali or quarrel."
For example this week a grocery store clerk was murdered because she requested a customer to wear a Covid-19 mask. CNN reported this most unfortunate incident as follows:
"Georgia authorities have identified a grocery store cashier killed during a face mask dispute and the man accused of shooting her.
DeKalb County police said Laquitta Willis, 41, was the victim in Monday's shooting at Big Bear grocery store in Decatur, just outside of Atlanta.
Willis was killed after an argument over a face mask, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. The GBI said Victor Lee Tucker Jr., 30, of Palmetto, Georgia, entered the store shortly after 1 p.m. and 'got into an argument with a cashier about his face mask' during checkout."
Such inauspiciousness will continue to manifest on this planet more and more until that day that we are able to re-establish Krishna consciousness as the guiding principle for the entire human society.
May that day come soon!

I have a question that do we have to leave our hobbies in Krishna consciousness? For example, before I came to know about Krishna consciousness and started practicing it I had some sports related hobbies like gymnastics and martial arts. Do I have to leave all my practice of these hobbies in Krishna consciousness? Or should I practice these things in restricted way?
Please help me. This question always confuses me. I am sorry if I have done inconvenience in anyway
Your humble servant,
Ankit kumar
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Frivolous sports are a waste of time and should be given up. However to be expert in martial arts is a valuable skill that can protect the devotees when they are attacked by the demons. So you may continue cultivating your expertise in martial arts.
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
