Srila Prabhupada is Here With Us

In the final year when Srila Prabhupada was still physically present with us here in this material world but had become physically incapacitated my glorious godbrother, His Holiness Gargamuni Swami wrote the following to Srila Prabhupada,

"We fervently pray that Your Divine Grace continue to remain in this world because we need your personal guidance. Even when Lord Krishna disappeared, Arjuna lost all strength temporarily."

On 14 July 1977 Srila Prabhupada wonderfully replied, "I shall remain your personal guidance, physically present or not physically, as I am getting personal guidance from my Guru Maharaja."

This is such a great relief for me to know that my beloved spiritual master is always with me and is always guiding me and blessing me how to properly engage in Krishna's service. All I have to do is always remember him and remain in a submissive, inquiring mood.

Question: Can You Enjoy Amusement Parks?

Can you ‘enjoy’ (or is it allowed) in Krishna's consciousness by going to amusement parks or taking a long journey? Or does this belong to Maya?

Answer: We Enjoy a Bigger, Better Amusement Park

A Krishna conscious person automatically loses interest in the so-called amusement parks because for him the entire world has become a gigantic amusement park. And he regularly travels all over the world going to every continent except for Antartica for bringing about the complete, total re-spiritualization of the entire human society. Thus he enjoys life unlimitedly millions of times better than the so-called enjoyers of this world. I invite you to also enjoy unlimitedly. There is no need to continue suffering unnecessarily when the formula for unlimited happiness is now available.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
