Redeeming Quality of Our Age of Kali

Salvation is Easier in the Kali Yuga

Even though we are living in the most degraded materialistic age of Kali, this age has one saving grace. Simply chanting Hare Krishna one can be liberated from this material world and go back to home, back to Godhead. This is confirmed in the Srimad Bhagavatam, 12th Canto, Chapter 3, Text 51 as follows:

kaler doṣa-nidhe rājann
asti hy eko mahān guṇaḥ
kīrtanād eva kṛṣṇasya
mukta-saṅgaḥ paraṁ vrajet

"My dear King, although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: Simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom."

Question: Accidental Death Means Becoming a Ghost?

Hare Krishna Prabhu,
Please accept my respectful obeisances.

I have heard that if a person is murdered or dies accidentally or has an unnatural death (not suicide), his soul becomes a ghost and has to wander on this earth till his actual time of death comes. Why does this happen? I understand that if one commits suicide, then he will have to suffer. But the one who died in an accident or has been murdered, then what is his fault. Why will he suffer?

Even if one's death is accidental, if he remembers Krishna, he will go back to Godhead. Therefore those who are intelligent remember Krishna constantly so that even if there is an accident they will go back to Godhead.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
