Question: Connect with God Through Mother Earth?

Sir,I have one question. I am a Christian, Roman Catholic by denomination, but I believe in the eternal bliss of God as the one and eternal God. Our Holy Father Pope Francis has released a book called Laudabte Si. (Connectedness to Mother Earth). Can you give me some insight towards this topic: that our connectedness to God is through mother nature and that the duty of each individual is to preserve this earth in its beauty and diversity. Please give me some insight towards this.

No, we connect with God through His holy names, not through nature. Pope Francis has it backwards.The actual situation is that instead of connecting with God through nature we connect with nature through God. Just as when we water the root of a tree all the leaves and branches are nourished, in a similar way when we give our loving service to God we give the best loving service to nature and to all living beings.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
