In This World There is Danger at Every Step

How to Escape from the World of Dangers

In the Srimad Bhagavatam, Tenth Canto, Chapter 14, Text 58 it is very nicely described how the Lord's devotees escape from this world of dangers:

samāśritā ye pada-pallava-plavaṁ
mahat-padaṁ puṇya-yaśo murāreḥ
bhavāmbudhir vatsa-padaṁ paraṁ padaṁ
padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadāṁ na teṣām

Translation

"For those who have accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the Lord, who is the shelter of the cosmic manifestation and is famous as Murāri, the enemy of the Mura demon, the ocean of the material world is like the water contained in a calf’s hoof-print. Their goal is paraṁ padam, Vaikuṇṭha, the place where there are no material miseries, not the place where there is danger at every step."

Let us take full advantage of this sublime instruction and make our lives safe and perfect by taking complete shelter of Lord Sri Krishna. He will protect us from all dangers. This is real intelligence.

I have practical of experience of this how when one evening a thief came into our temple in Miami demanding money and pointed a gun at my head when I loudly chanted the name of Lord Nrsimhadeva and I was saved from being murdered.

Question: How Krishna and Krishna's Name Are Non-different?

1)Krishna and Krishna’s name are nondifferent.
2)Absolute World & Material World (The differences)

Can you please explain in detail how to understand the two subjects as mentioned above.

Please provide some practical example I am quite confused in this subject.

Answer: Krishna is Fully Present in His Name

Just you would be unlimitedly blessed if Krishna were to appear before you and you were able to see Him face-to-face, eye-to-eye, if you will put full faith in Him, you will get exactly the same benefit by chanting His holy name.

The absolute world is the spiritual world and it is eternally manifested. The material world goes through cycles of manifestation and non-manifestation. When Mahavishnu exhales the material world is manifested. And when He inhales the material world becomes non-manifested.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
