Yasodamayi Wins Eurovision for Lithuania

My disciple, Yasodamayi devi dasi, is the winner of the Eurovision contest (an extremely popular contest for singers in Europe) for Lithuania. Her next step is to compete to be the winner for all of Europe. She is taking advantage of her super stardom in Lithuania to preach Krishna consciousness.

Regarding utilizing one's talent in Krishna's service, Srila Prabhupada says:

"Krishna consciousness is so nice, if you apply it in any field of activities you will see it is perfect. Either you apply in industry or in politics or in sociology or in philosophy or in science. Therefore Bhagavata says that whatever capacity you may have, either you are a scientist or a lawyer or an engineer or a rich man, a capitalist, whatever you may be. Your duty is to utilize your talent for Krsna consciousness. That's all. That is perfection. Yes."

So we certainly wish her well as she goes now to compete to be the Eurovision winner for all of Europe.

The British Queen and the royal family have done atrocities of all kinds n the world including heavy exploitation of resourcse and people for over 200 years. Stll the queen is having a long life of 92 years, great opulence, fame, etc. How can this happen to them? Are they exempt frm the law of karma?

Answer: Everyone Is Under the Law of Karma

​​​​​​​They are reaping the benefit of heaps of previous pious activities. Everyone in this material world is getting exactly what they deserve strictly according to the stringent law of karma. The only exception to this is for those who have fully surrendered to Krishna. Krishna frees His devotees from their karma and gives them the greatest benediction of getting out of the cycle of birth and returning to their original home in the spiritual world.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
