Don't Waste Your Life​​​​​​​​​​​​

The human form of life is only achieved after undergoing millions of changes of body in the lower species. Therefore we should not waste this rare opportunity by running after material sense gratification like the animals. Rather we should use it for one purpose and one purpose only, to awaken our dormant Krishna consciousness and go back home, back to Godhead. There is not much more to be said in this connection. Simply we have to be intelligent and do the needful. Otherwise our lives will be catastrophic, a royal nightmare.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Your very existence depends on Him at very moment. By His grace your heart is beating. He is the one who supplies you with air, sunshine, food, clothing, and water. He has established the law of karma to punish and reward you for sinful and pious deeds if you choose to remain away from Him. But He also gives you the path of liberation how you can transcend the law of karma and attain your original eternal youthful life full of knowledge and full of bliss as one of His intimate associates in the spiritual world.

Fear of God is for the fools. Those who are wise enter into a sweet, loving relationship with that all-beautiful, all-powerful, all-merciful, all-knowing, all-wealthy, all-renounced, and all-famous person who is the source of all existence. They regain their original, eternal identity in His transcendental pastimes in the spiritual sky as one of His dearmost associates.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
