What Could Be More Amazing Than This?

It is most wonderfully stated in the Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Antya Lila, Chapter 4, Text 142:

dīkṣā-kāle bhakta kare ātma-samarpaṇa
sei-kāle kṛṣṇa tāre kare ātma-sama

“At the time of initiation, when a devotee fully surrenders unto the service of the Lord, Krishna accepts him to be as good as Himself."

What could be more amazing than this, to be accepted by God to be as good as His very self? This is the unlimitedly auspicious benefit of taking initiation and fully surrendering oneself unto Krishna. There is no greater achievement than this! Those who do not take initiation and those who take initiation superficially, not fully surrendering to Krishna, will have no experience of this.

Why One Should Obey the Spiritual Master

Answers According to Vedic Knowledge

Question: Am I On the Right Path?

My dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances,
All glories to you Srila Gurudeva and Srimati Gurumataji

How do I convince myself humbly that I am qualitatively one with the Lord? Is it sufficient to totally surrender to the Lord and the spiritual master and always be Krishna Conscious as an eternal servant? Presently I am not looking for bliss. Are my thoughts are okay? Am I on the right path?

Your servant,
Srivatsa Das

Answer: Yes

We are qualitatively one with God because we all possess the same quality of being eternal. If you fully surrender to Krishna as His eternal servant through the via medium of the bona fide spiritual master, you will attain complete, total spiritual perfection.

Those who are advanced in Krishna consciousness do not look for bliss. They are simply concerned with how they can give bliss to Krishna by always serving Him with love at every minute.

So you are definitely on the right path. Please continue cultivating your Krishna consciousness as you are now doing now and surely Krishna will bless you with the full awakening of pure love for Him within you heart.
