Attracting the Whole World to Krishna

Our mission is to attract the whole world to Krishna because this will solve all the problems of the world making everyone in every corner of the world unlimitedly happy. Factually, whether they know it or not, everyone is already attracted to Krishna. It is just at the present time everyone here in this material world is manifesting their attraction by running madly after Krishna's shadow, the material energy. If someone were to offer us a delicious meal and the shadow of delicious meal, which would we prefer to accept? The choice is obvious. We would accept the delicious meal. So now through the process of education we have to guide the people how to factually experience the greatest pleasure of Krishna directly instead of His shadow, this material energy. If we are fully convinced and determined to enlighten them, we will be successful in our mission of attracting the whole world to Krishna. So now taking complete shelter of Guru and Krishna we must simply act intelligently and enthusiastically to succeed in our mission.

This is the first time I am writing to you and I feel very fortunate to have your invaluable association through this way.

Please help me to understand what is self interest and what is being selfless? Please advise what is more important in devotional service, One's self interest or to be selfless?

Answer: True Self-Interest is Selflessness

I am very happy that you have now written to me. I want to guide how to attain your true self-interest, which is perfect selflessness. In other words, we attain perfection when our interest perfectly coincides with the interest of the Lord. This means that our real self-interest is to become Krishna conscious. This is attained by following Krishna’s instructions as stated in the Bhagavad-gita as it is.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
