Render the Highest Service to Suffering Humanity

Render the highest service to the suffering humanity by fully dedicating your life for helping them awaken their dormant Krishna consciousness. Not only is this the highest welfare. It is also the only real welfare, because all other welfare activities simply prolong the entanglement of the conditioned souls in the cycle of repeated birth, death, old age, and disease.

Question: How to Become a Dear Disciple?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, what is meant by "dear disciple"?
And how does one become "dear disciple"?
Is it something like there can be only one dear most disciple?

There are so many devotees. Lord Krishna says in Bhagavat Gita that He reciprocates as per our love and service unto Him. Is it so that becoming a "dear disciple" also means becoming "dear to Krishna"? How does one become dear to Krishna?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, humbly enquiring to enlighten me on the difference between "bothering the Spiritual Master" and "serving the Spiritual Master"?

In one lecture, I heard "Though we are all fools, try to act intelligently." I feel that I ask so small small things sometimes, i feel I am bothering Your Divine Grace because I am not the only one, Your Divine Grace is on a mission to make the whole world Krishna conscious, so please enlighten me if this is proper or we should try to handle situations of our own, keeping in notice that instructions are followed?

Srila Gurudeva, for example, if I am thirsty or hungry, asking permission for that looks that I am bothering unnecessarily. But I am not sure if my understanding is correct or wrong. Could Your Divine Grace please enlighten me?

Thank you
Hare Krishna

Answer: Be a Disciple

Every disciple is my dearmost disciple because they are all most special. So to become most dear to the spiritual master, all one has to do is to be a disciple.

One who is dear to the spiritual master is automatically most dear to Krishna, because Krishna wants to see that we become the devotees of His devotees, not that we are simply His devotees.

Bothering the spiritual master means disobeying the spiritual master.

You should inquire from your spiritual master as much as is required to get yourself solidly situated in Krishna consciousness. His desire is to get you out of the cycle of birth and death. Therefore he is very happy to answer your serious questions as much as is required to help you to become spiritually perfect.
