Prominent Biologist Wants Science to Not Be Dogmatic

The mainstream of modern day science as taught in universities and conveyed in the media presents a soul-less, atheistic world view. For example, one of the most currently prominent scientists, Dr. Stephen Hawking, denies God by saying that everything comes out of nothing. He presents religion as the foolish superstition of those who are less intelligent and uncivilized, comparing them to aborigines, natives living in the jungle. However among scientists there are exceptions to this. Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, a noted biologist, who is best known for his hypothesis of morphic fields and morphic resonance, has written a book called "The Science Delusion," in which he explains how modern day science has veered away from being actually scientific and has become dogmatic. In this book he writes:

"The biggest scientific delusion of all is that science already knows the answers. The details still need working out but, in principle, the fundamental questions are settled. Contemporary science is based on the claim that all reality is material or physical. There is no reality but material reality. Consciousness is a by-product of the physical activity of the brain... God exists only as an idea in human minds, and hence in human heads. These beliefs are powerful, not because most scientists think about them critically but because they don’t. The facts of science are real enough; so are the techniques that scientists use, and the technologies based on them. But the belief system that governs conventional scientific thinking is an act of faith, grounded in a nineteenth-century ideology. This book is pro-science. I want the sciences to be less dogmatic and more scientific. I believe that the sciences will be regenerated when they are liberated from the dogmas that constrict them."

Because of the powerful teachings of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, someday the scientists all over the world will accept that the universe does not come out of nothing, that it instead comes from Krishna.

Question: Proof That Krishna's Pastimes Are Not a Myth?

When we explain about Krishna's pastimes to others they say that they are only a myth. They say these are just stories and there are no concrete proof to support them. Please advise, Guru Maharaja.

Answer: Confirmed by Eye Witnesses

Those who have personally met Krishna and have been so fortunate to have directly witnessed
His pastimes vouch for the authenticity of his identity and his pastimes. They certify that Krishna and His pastimes are not mythological. This is just like someone may not have ever gone to China, but yet accepts the existence of China from the testimony of those who have been there.
