It's Time for the World to Wake Up

The entire human civilization is currently sleeping deep in the depths of ignorance completely enwrapped in maya or illusion. Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur has wonderfully revealed to us how Lord Caitanya is mercifully trying to rescue the suffering humanity in his song called Arunodaya-kirtana II:

jīv jāgo, jīv jāgo, gauracānda bole
kota nidrā jāo māyā-piśācīra kole

"Lord Gauranga is calling, 'Wake up, sleeping souls! Wake up, sleeping souls! How long will you sleep in the lap of the witch called Maya?'"

The world needs to now heed the call of Lord Caitanya and come out of its present most pitiable condition.

Hare Krishna Srila Gurudeva,

In the present age of Kali, we see chaos and trouble at the every part of the world. Demonic forces are on the rise. Pious people are on back foot. Should we hope that to annihilate the miscreants Lord Krishna will appear as He promised in the Bhagavad-gita? He has stated there, "To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I myself appear, millennium after millennium."

If answer is 'yes', then, when He will appear?

Answer: He Has Appeared to Annihilate Their Demoniac Mentality

Since the entire world is now demoniac, if Krishna were to kill all the demons at present, He would have to kill everyone. Therefore instead He has compassionately appeared in this age as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, not to annihilate the demons, but to instead annihilate their demoniac by chanting Hare Krishna and empowering His devotees to spread the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra all over the world.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
