Austin Janmastami 2016
Janmastami 2016 at ISKCON Austin was a grand success due to the hard work and very dedicated loving service of my wife, Her Grace Srimati Vishnupriya devi dasi, (known affectionately to my disciples as "Gurumata" or "Gurumataji"). We had many ecstatic kirtans, a well-executed drama, an enchanting bathing ceremony for Sri Sri Radha Damodar, a lecture on Krishna's appearance, a super-enlivening midnight arati ceremony to celebrate the Lord's appearance at midnight some 5,000 years ago, and to top it all off we had the most amazing multi-course prasadam feast, which was better than anything you could ever imagine. Krishna is so kind to have appeared in this world and very, very merciful to give us this opportunity to do a special worship for Him every year on Janmastami, His transcendental appearance day.
Could You enlighten me, Srila Gurudeva, how much fun is in Krishna consciousness? How to absorb more?
I bow down at Your lotus feet.
Your eternal servant,
Gandharvika Devi Dasi
The easy way to become absorbed more in Krishna consciousness is to go deeper and deeper and deeper into your meditation on Krishna’s unlimitedly sweet Holy Name.

Answer: Unlimited Ever-Increasing Oceans of Fun
There are unlimited, ever-increasing oceans of fun in Krishna consciousness. In fact there is nothing that is any fun except for Krishna consciousness. All other types of fun are imaginary; they are fake; they are not real. The easy way to become absorbed more in Krishna consciousness is to go deeper and deeper and deeper into your meditation on Krishna’s unlimitedly sweet Holy Name.
