Your Journey to the Topmost Perfection

Why suffer unnecessarily in this material world when the bona fide spiritual master is willing to guide you how to escape the cycle of death, thus enabling you to regain your original, eternal identity in the pastimes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His unlimitedly blissful transcendental kingdom?

The difficulty is that you have been misguided so many times by so many bogus mentors that you have a natural tendency not to trust anyone anymore. So what to do? You can make an experiment. You can absorb your present lifetime in fully following the instructions of the bona fide spiritual master and then judge by what is the result.

If you are not satisfied with the eternal life full of bliss and knowledge that you achieve by following the guru's guidance, you can always revert to misery and ignorance in the cycle of repeated birth and death.

Question: How Did Arjuna Become Krishna's Intimate Friend?

Dearest Srila Gurudeva

Please accept my respectful and humble obeisance.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I read in " Setting the Scene" of The Bhagavad Gita As It Is, that Arjuna is a friend and a devotee of Lord Krishna. I read that Lord Krishna, the Supreme Godhead, had descended to earth and played the role as a prince and in His role He was the cousin of Mother Kunti and protected her sons.

Arjuna is Lord Krishna's intimate friend, devotee and associate and above all ignorance but was put into ignorance on the Battle field just to question Lord Krishna about the problem of life so the Lord could explain them for future generations.

How did Arjuna become the intimate friend, devotee and associate of Krishna and be above all ignorance. Arjuna being above all ignorance must have a special meaning. Was he a saint?

Respectfully
Nelita

Answer: He is Eternally in that Position

Arjuna is the greatest of saints. He did not have to become the intimate friend, devotee and associate of Krishna situated beyond all ignorance because that is his eternal constitutional identity and position.
