Keep Your Temper, Don't Lose It
Temper means equanimity or an equipoised state of mind. When one is equipoised he remains calm, tolerant, and self-controlled in all situations even if he is greatly insulted. A devotee does not loses his temper. He can easily keeps it because he witnesses at every minute the constant display of Krishna's unlimited loving mercy upon him and upon all living beings. However, if Krishna or His devotee is attacked or insulted, the devotee becomes angry like blazing fire to defend his beloved Lord and the His most beloved devotees from being insulted or attacked.

Question: Does Surrender to Krishna Mean Quitting My Job?
Lord Krishna says to give up everything and just surrender unto Him. Does it mean that I should give up my job/career in order to surrender to Krishna? How will then I maintain myself?Is working at office also a form of devotional service to Krishna?

Answer: Do Your Job For Krishna
Surrendering to Krishna does not mean giving up your job or career. It means to engage the fruit or your work, i.e. your income, in Krishna's service. Therefore there is no need to quit your job. Keep your job and spend your money only for supporting the Krishna consciousness movement and its preachers and for making your own Krishna conscious living arrangements.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
