Super Enlivening Leaders Meeting
It is simply wonderful to be here in Houston for the annual North American leader's meeting. We are blessed with the association of many exalted Vaisnavas for two-and-a-half days of seminars on various important transcendental topics such as: book distribution, ISKCON's 50th anniversary, Western outreach, devotee care, and many more. The kirtans are glorious and the prasadam is phenomenal. It's a great way to start the new year with a strong dose of inspiration!

There Your Grace said that we need to train ourselves to expand our comfort zone.
Sometimes I am feeling great anxiety, and it seems that there is no possibility to do some task or handle some situation. And I would rather find some "mouse hole" and hide myself there than voluntarily try to expose to discomfort.
So I am asking you if you could kindly explain this to me.

Question: What to Do When I'd Rather Hide?
My name is Antun, and I am writing to you regarding the Thought for the Day, dated 15th January 2016.There Your Grace said that we need to train ourselves to expand our comfort zone.
Sometimes I am feeling great anxiety, and it seems that there is no possibility to do some task or handle some situation. And I would rather find some "mouse hole" and hide myself there than voluntarily try to expose to discomfort.

Answer: Krishna's Shelter is the Ultimate "Mouse Hole"
The ultimate “mouse hole” or hideout into which we can crawl for protection is the shelter of Krishna or God. If you crawl into that "mouse hole," you will find an exciting comfortable world where all anxieties fly away, where discomfort mystically transforms into the greatest comfort.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
