Political Correctness or Follow the Bona Fide Guru?
If we become influenced by the material society, we will start to also embrace modern materialistic concepts such as the so-called political correctness doctrine, which totally disregards any material distinctions and is a slap in the face to the Lord Krishna's varnashram dharma system. Krishna consciousness, of course, is transcendental to varnashram dharma. But because we are still situated on the material plane, the system of varnashram dharma, if adopted under the guidance of a bona fide spiritual master, will help us become solidly situated on the transcendental plane. Artificially, prematurely renouncing it, will cause us to fall back into material consciousness.

Question: How Devotee Remains Free From Maya's Spell?
What is maya? How should a devotee prevent himself from being under its spell?Amit Gupta

Answer: A Devotee is Not Under Maya's Spell
Maya means illusion. One who is under the influence of maya misidentifies himself with his material body and foolishly considers himself to be the center of existence. In this state of ignorance he suffers like anything in this material world birth after birth. A devotee of Krishna, however, is not under the influence of maya because he is fully protected by Guru and Krishna by having fully surrendered unto them. He knows that he is not the center of existence, that it is only Krishna Who is the center of existence. Therefore instead of experiencing the temporality, ignorance, and misery which is the plight of the illusioned non-devotees, the devotee experiences eternity, knowledge, and bliss being reinstated in his eternal constitutional position as a servant of Krishna.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
