When Our Body Dies We Do Not Die

Is death like a switch, that nature simply flips you off, and then you are no more? Or do you continue to live after death? This question has been pondered by thoughtful persons throughout the ages. So what is the answer?

There is one thing that we can scientifically confirm. We have a desire for immortality. This is why we do everything possible to avoid death. What does this tell us?

Just as we would not have a thirst for water if there was no such thing as water, similarly we would not have a desire for immortality if there were no such thing as immortality. Therefore immortality exists. It is as real as water. When our body dies we do not die.

Question: Difference Between Faith and Belief?

Please tell us what is the difference between faith and belief.

Regards,
Sunil

Answer: Synonyms, But Krishna Consciousness is Science

According to the dictionary, faith and belief are synonyms. One may have faith or belief in something which is not even true. Therefore faith and belief may not necessarily be scientific or factual. In science we are supposed to have actual facts. For example in science we learn that two parts of hydrogen combined with one part of oxygen makes water. This is not a matter of faith and belief. It is a scientific fact, which can be confirmed in the laboratory.

Krishna consciousness is not a matter of faith or belief. Rather it is science because it gives one the tools to personally confirm by one's own direct experience all the truths that are contained in the Vedas.
