The Science of Genuine Love

Everyone has a psychological need for love. We are not referring to the so-called love commonly celebrated in this world, which is nothing but selfishness or lust masquerading under the name of love. We are speaking about actual love, the rendering of service from one to another without any condition of receiving something in exchange. Because practically everyone in this world has a self-centered, egotistical nature it is very difficult to find someone with whom you can have a pure, satisfying reciprocal loving relationship. Therefore bereft of genuine loving relationships people all over the world are miserable and confused and sometimes become so bewildered that they vent their frustrations by going on mass killing rampages. Thus there is a vital need for educating the mass population in the science of genuine love. That sconce is based on connecting one's tendency for love with the Supreme Person, who is the source of all love, by directly channeling one's loving tendency towards Him, to those who are also channeling their love to Him, as well as to all the living beings, who are nothing but the manifestations of His desire to enjoy unlimited loving relationships.

Answer: All Sciptures Promote Kindness to Animals

The Christians and Muslims would do well to thoughtfully consider the higher principles of non-violence to animals as taught in their scriptures. While scriptures, even the Vedic scriptures, sometimes give concession to the grossly sinful to allow meat eating under restriction, the ultimate purpose of all scriptures is to bring one to a state of pure sinlessness in which one can fully awaken pure love of God within one's heart. As long as one inflicts cruelty upon God's creatures it is not possible to purely love Him. Therefore non-violence to animals is one of the essential tenets of all religious systems.

For example the Bible clearly states in: "Thou shalt not kill."
Exodus 20:13.

And the Koran clearly states: "There is not an animal on the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are peoples like unto you."
Koran, surah 6 verse 38

And Prophet Mohammed said: ""Maim not the brute beasts...Whoever is kind to the lesser creatures is kind to himself...He who takes pity (even) on a sparrow and spares its life. Allah will be merciful on him on the day of judgement."
