Don't Space Out

Don't space out. Every moment of your life is unlimitedly precious. Therefore always somehow or other keep your mind fixed on Krishna. Chant Hare Krishna on your japa beads. While you are engaged in various activities you can keep the Hare Krishna mantra going on your lips. In this way always remain absorbed in Krishna. Bow down to Him. Offer foods to Him. (No meat, fish, or eggs.) Read about Him. Write about Him. In this way fill up every second of your 24 hours with Krishna consciousness. You will taste the bliss.

Answer: Eating Slaughterhouse Meat is Most Sinful

In this age of Kali the sastras declare that everyone is a born as a sudra (worker class). So one does not become a ksatriya (warrior class) by birth. If one wants to be actual warrior class he must be trained and act as a warrior for his livelihood. It is a fact that the ksatriyas were allowed to eat the meat of the animals that they killed in the forest when they went hunting to practice the art of killing. Since it was their duty to be successful in battle they would sometimes practice the killing art by hunting in the forest. But they did not eat meat from the slaughterhouse because this is most sinful. So it is not because one's forefathers were actual ksatriyas that one can claim the right to engage in the most sinful activity of eating slaughterhouse meat, something which the real ksatriyas did not do.
