Abortion Encourages Murder

Now along with the legalization of abortion in the USA we are seeing that mass murders are becoming more and more common. Regularly we hear reports that someone has taken a gun and shot many people dead at a school, in a movie theatre, or in a shopping mall. What's happening is that once a government lowers the standard of morality in its country by authorizing the regular murder of millions of its unborn children, it is simply a matter of time before this mood of disrespect towards life begins to show up in the practical behavior of its citizens. The conclusion is that if a government wants to curb down the murder rate within its nation, it needs to itself not be guilty of sanctioning and encouraging murder through legalized abortion. The difficulty with this conclusion is that someone who is addicted to sex pleasure will want to continue gratifying his sexual appetite at any cost without any restriction even if it means killing his own children. As long as the world population remains addicted to sense gratification, the world situation will become more and more hellish with each passing generation. The only solution is the awakening of the dormant Krishna consciousness within the hearts of all.

Question: Can I Pray to Krishna for Death?

My dear Gurudeva,

Anyone who remembers Krishna at the time of death, attains Krishna. So is it fine to ask Krishna to grant us death when we are remembering Him? For example, when one is fully absorbed in chanting shouldn't Krishna grant him death so we can attain Him?

Also in one of your lectures, you told that you are seeing Krishna. So please share your experience with me. How actually Krishna looks? Is He different from the photos that we see in the temple?

Answer: Let Krishna Decide When You Will Die

Our bodies belong to Krishna. Therefore we should totally leave it up to Him when He wants to put an end to our present material bodies. That decision is up to Him, not to us. From our side we should be enthusiastic to continue engaging our present bodies in the service of the Lord for as many years as He desires for us to do so. We should always remember that death can come at any minute. Therefore we should always remain absorbed in thoughts of Krishna so that when our final moment comes we can easily remember Him and attain His transcendental abode.

I am seeing Krishna in the form of the order I have received from my spiritual master to spread the Krishna consciousness movement all over the world. This my darshan and connection with Krishna.
