Spreading the Rays of the Benediction Moon in Austin

On Saturday 30 November the devotees of Krishna in Austin were blessed with the most auspicious opportunity to share the mercy of Krishna with the many people who had gathered in downtown Austin to attend a parade. There is nothing more blissful than being Krishna consciousness. And even more blissful than being Krishna conscious is spreading Krishna consciousness. Lord Caitanya gives special mercy to those who spread the rays of His benediction moon.

Question: Is There More Than One Eternity?

Is there more than one eternity since nirvana is eternal?

And if we originated from Vrindavana, is this countless times even before we fell down from eternity in the Viraja ocean?

Also if Vrindavana is so unlimited and unfathomable, then even when we reach there for all countless eternities we would never be able to describe a drop of the limitless happiness of the sakhis and Govardhan Hill and Radha Kunda?

Answer: There Is Only One Eternity

There is only one eternity, not more than one. The Buddhistic nirvana of merging into nothingness is temporary. It is not eternal because it is not natural for the living being to be merged into a state of inactivity. It is compared to ordering a naughty child to sit in the corner and not do anything. He cannot sit still for long. But if you give him a nice engagement, he can be nicely engaged for hours with no naughtiness. The nice engagement for the soul is to return home, back to Godhead. This is the highest type of nirvana

Srila Prabhupada describes that we fell down from Goloka Vrindavana, not from Viraja, the border between the spiritual world and the material world. It is practical. One lives either on one side of the border or on the other side.

It is a fact that even if Lord Ananta with His millions of mouths were to go on describing the glories of even one drop of the unlimited happiness of Goloka Vrindavan for all of eternity, He would hardly be able to begin to do justice to the subject matter.
