Upgrade Your Consciousness
The world will be a much better place if you become Krishna conscious. Right now the atmosphere is completely materialistic and people are going crazy with anxiety in such a godless atmosphere. If you will upgrade your consciousness by dovetailing it with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna, this will have a revolutionary, uplifting effect on the global consciousness and thus make the world a better place for everyone. So if you care for yourself and you care for others, kindly take seriously to the path of Krishna consciousness today.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
If one is newly introduced to Krishna Consciousness and hasn't yet started to follow the four regulative principles, may he/she start chanting or does one have to wait till they strictly follow the 4 regulative principles and have given up all un-spiritual habits i.e. drinking caffeinated drinks or eating foods like onion etc. in order to chant?
Thank you,
Shivanie

Answer: Chant and Bad Habits Will Disappear
Even if one is not following any religious principles and is completely absorbed in sinful activities, if he or she will in earnest take up the regular chanting of the holy names, he or she will be naturally lose taste for material sense gratification and become naturally purely fixed in following all of the religious principles. This is the unlimited power of the holy names of God. Simply by this wonderful chanting process all bad habits will automatically disappear.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
