Roaring Lion Without and Meek Lamb Within
Although a Vaisnava may speak very powerfully and boldly roaring like a lion against the demoniac men who are so much misguiding the modern day civilization, he does not do so out of pride or false egotism. Rather, his vehement protests arise from a the genuine feeling of compassion to save the people of the world from their suffering condition. Even though out of duty and compassion he sometimes speaks very forcefully, the Vaisnava always feels very meek and humble in regards to his own reputation, considering himself to be lower than the garbage in the street.
