Attitude, Not Aptitude, Determines Your Altitude

For one who wants to achieve the topmost perfection of going back to home, back to Godhead the most important quality to possess is sincerity. One need not be highly qualified or highly skilled in various talents. Simply one must be very sincere about being a fully surrendered devotee of the Lord. It is this attitude of sincerity, not one's talents, that enables one to achieve the highly elevated plateau of consciousness known as Krishna consciousness.

Question: How to Understand Krishna is a Person?

I'd like to ask how to test and understand that Krishna or God is a sophisticated personality.

My closest understanding of a personality is the same as his intelligence. I accept there is some force regulating the universe, but it has to be infinitively primitive, because I can easily communicate with other people and easily receive responses. A bit harder is with animals, and more hard is with plants. And more hard is with minerals, wind, sun, clouds etc. But these primitive intelligences constitute almost everything in the universe.

Please explain to me how you and other pure devotees can understand and accept Krishna as a sophisticated personality. Since I cannot receive a similar response from Krishna as from another human, I can't understand how He can be infinitely more supreme.

I'm very sorry if any of my opinions are offensive to you or other devotees - I inquire only with puzzlement.

Answer: Meet Him

To understand Krishna as a person is not difficult. Simply you have to meet Him. Krishna will talk with you. Krishna will walk with you. In so many ways Krishna will interact with you as a person. So now you must qualify yourself to get His association. Do not think that He is ordinary man whose association you can get very easily. Even in this material world if you want to associate with a big man like the President of the United States, you must qualify yourself to get that association. So how much more you will have to qualify yourself to get the association of the topmost big man, God Himself, Lord Sri Krishna? If you will qualify yourself by taking complete shelter of Him, He will personally reveal Himself to you face to face, eye to eye and allow you to associate with Him eternally in His unlimited inconceivable pastimes.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
