The entire human society is currently drowning deep in the dense darkness of delusion known as material consciousness. This is based on the false conception of considering the self to be the body. Instead of having a natural intuitive understanding of the reality that surrounds them, because of their having been grossly miseducated, they do not have a clue as to who they actually are and as to what is the purpose of their existence. Thus due to extreme ignorance, the entire human society has been plunged into a horrific suffering condition. By the mercy of the great enlightened sages we now have the knowledge by which to deliver them from their deeply seated ignorance and suffering and thus usher in a new age of unsurpassed peace and prosperity for all men in all nations. Therefore out mission is now to save the world by enlightening everyone in the science of Krishna consciousness.

Question: Dealing with Anger Against Material Society

I want to ask you how can I deal with the anger I have for people that eat meat, wear leather, etc and continue in ignorance, contributing to the torture and slaughter of millions of lives. It pains me knowing how unenlightened the general population is. I hate that I have contributed in the past and probably do in some unknown ways. Why do I have so much anger? On the positive side, I just long more and more to leave this hellish material world and crave more and more to be under your guidance and return to our Father, Krishna.

You have this anger because of your saintly nature. Therefore, I applaud your anger.

The way to deal with anger against the innumerable atrocities being committed every day by the present day demoniac civilization is to do just what I have done, fully dedicate your life to making the world Krishna conscious. This is the only workable, sustainable solution.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
