Instant Nirvana

There is no reason to continue suffering in this material existence for even a moment longer. By engaging the body, mind, and activities in the service of Krishna, one attains the supreme nirvana, which abides in Krishna. Since everything exists within Krishna, we cannot find peace outside of Krishna conscious activities. The supreme nirvana begins immediately as soon as you offer yourself to Krishna as His eternal servant. Simply you must trust in Krishna that if you fully surrender unto Him, He will take perfectly good care of you in all times, places, and circumstances. This faith is gained by the association of those who have already fully surrendered themselves unto Lord Sri Krishna.

Question: Does It Take Time to Reach Pure Devotion?

Dear teacher:

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Once you said that the order of the spiritual master carries in itself the potency for its successful execution. I want to ask: Does it take time to reach pure devotion? I mean, most of the orders of the spiritual master are on the level of pure devotion, like chanting with full concentration, pleasing Krishna, etc, etc. It's very difficult. Does it take time to reach pure devotion, maybe many years, or we can execute it with some effort right now?

Answer: It Immediately Starts to Gradually Manifest

The awakening of pure devotion is like the sunrise, which gradually manifests on the eastern horizon. It does not fully appear all of sudden, but it immediately begins to gradually appear. In a similar way, as soon you sincerely take up the process of Krishna consciousness your spiritual progress immediately begins. It will take some time for pure devotion to become fully manifested, but it immediately begins to manifest as soon as you take the first step in devotion, which is to take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead.
