“Pure love for Kṛṣṇa is eternally established in the hearts of the living entities. It is not something to be gained from another source. When the heart is purified by hearing and chanting, this love naturally awakens."

That you have realized it is wrong to masturbate and have confessed means that you in the proper position to conquer it.

Sex pleasure is the greatest of all material pleasures. But it pales into insignificance when compared with the pleasure of awakening love of Krishna within one's heart. It is not wrong for you to hanker after the greatest pleasure. Now you simply have to remember that masturbation is not it. The greatest pleasure is to awaken your Krishna consciousness, which is an unlimited ever-increasing thrill going on 24 hours a day.

If you will withhold your semen, it will rise to your brain where it will make your brain more powerful for spiritual understanding, and it will increase your power of memory. Withholding your semen also increases your body's resistance against disease, old age, and death.

An intelligent person therefore does not pass semen unless he is trying to produce a Krishna conscious child in the womb of his wife.

So there is no sense in punishing yourself by the so-called pleasure of masturbation. It is millions and billions of times better to award yourself by chanting Hare Krishna and awakening your original divine consciousness.

Whenever your mind becomes disturbed by the desire for masturbation, here is mantra by the great Vaisnava acharya Yamunacharya which will protect you.

yad-avadhi mama cetaḥ kṛṣṇa-pādāravinde
nava-nava-rasa-dhāmany udyataṁ rantum āsīt
tad-avadhi bata nārī-saṅgame smaryamāne
bhavati mukha-vikāraḥ suṣṭhu niṣṭhīvanaṁ ca

"Since my mind has been engaged in the service of the lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa, and I have been enjoying an ever new transcendental humor, whenever I think of sex life with a woman, my face at once turns from it, and I spit at the thought."

Now you should become a first class spitter and chanter and never be carried away ever again by masturbation.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
