A Devotee is Kind
In his purport to Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 12, Text 15 Srila Prabhupada very wonderfully describes the kindness of His devotee as follows:
"No one is put into difficulty, anxiety, fearfulness or dissatisfaction by such a devotee. Since a devotee is kind to everyone, he does not act in such a way as to put others into anxiety. At the same time, if others try to put a devotee into anxiety, he is not disturbed. It is by the grace of the Lord that he is so practiced that he is not disturbed by any outward disturbance. Actually because a devotee is always engrossed in Kṛṣṇa consciousness and engaged in devotional service, such material circumstances cannot move him. Generally a materialistic person becomes very happy when there is something for his sense gratification and his body, but when he sees that others have something for their sense gratification and he hasn't, he is sorry and envious. When he is expecting some retaliation from an enemy, he is in a state of fear, and when he cannot successfully execute something he becomes dejected. A devotee who is always transcendental to all these disturbances is very dear to Kṛṣṇa."
So let us now, in all times, places and circumstances now live up to this wonderful description of Krishna's devotee.

Question: How to Deal With Unsatisfied Desires?
Dear Srila Gurudeva,Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I wanted to know how to deal with the sadness, frustration and anger that arises out of not getting that which we desire the most in our heart.
For a person who is favorably inclined towards Krishna Consciousness and aspiring to be a devotee of the Supreme Lord Krishna, how should he deal with the unsatisfied desires and cravings present due to past conditioning? These desires make us feel that we are missing something in life which should be experienced.
Thank you very much. I am very grateful and fortunate to get valuable advice from you.
Your insignificant servant,

Answer: Desire Only Pure Devotional Service
My Dear Deepanshu,Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Your difficulty is that you are maintaining desires outside of the desire for pure devotional service. You do not need these desires. They are like ghosts haunting your heart. So now you should have one desire and one desire only, to be the pure devotee of Krishna. When you come to this position you will be tasting unlimited bliss within your heart at every minute. You will become free from all anxiety. Your only anxiety will be how to deliver the fallen, suffering souls of this material world back to home, back to Godhead.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.
