Question: Is Soul Personal or Impersonal?
Hare Krishna!!Please accept my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.
I wanted to know whether the soul has senses. I mean, is the soul personal or impersonal? If it is personal, can one be happy by satisfying the senses of the soul?
Mrutyunjay Mallik
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Yes, the soul has senses. He is a person. Just as the hand becomes satisfied when feeding the stomach, our senses become satisfied when we serve Krishna.
This is why He is known as Govinda, which means, "He who gives pleasure to the senses."
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood of serving Govinda.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
